In March 2023 and April 2024, we recorded the "Unnamed Antshrike (Thamnophilus sp.) in a new locality in the municipality of San José del Guaviare, extending its known distribution more than 450 km westward along the Guaviare River. We include descriptions of the habitat, behavior, vocalizations, and diet, important information for assessing the ecological and conservation status of this population.
